Rebels S01E00 “Spark of Rebellion” (Prologue Version)

On the occupied world of Lothal, a young street thief named Ezra Bridger crosses paths with the crew of the Ghost—Kanan, Hera, Sabine, Zeb, and Chopper. What begins as a chance encounter quickly grows into a daring rescue mission against the Empire, setting Ezra on the path of the Jedi and uniting him with a new family. This first adventure lights the spark that will ignite the larger fight for freedom across the galaxy.

This extended version of the premiere includes an additional prologue featuring Darth Vader, voiced by James Earl Jones, as he confers with the Inquisitor about the growing rebel threat. The added scene deepens the connection to the larger Star Wars saga and raises the stakes for the Ghost crew’s fight against the Empire.
